I have to make a song for a contest, well i dont have to but i think writing songs is my calling and this could be my big break, but i need to know what software to use to produce it. Please help!

Another great program is Fruity Loops, which has a wide range of instruments to literally create songs from scratch - even if you can't play an instrument. (like me lol).
