How do you remove a software that is manually deleted?

I wanted to install a new anti-virus software, but there is another software blocking it. i tried removing it using windows but the application wasn't there. then i tried to uninstall it but the ' missing short-cut' keeps showing. i manually deleted it by going into my computer and just delete the file. but when i tried to install the software again. it says that the software is still there. what am i suppose to do now?How do you remove a software that is manually deleted?You could try using system restore and go back to before you deleted those files and then try to uninstall it correctly.How do you remove a software that is manually deleted?If you have the courage you can start removing registry entries that associate themselves with that bit of software. back up all ur work 1st !!!!!!

go to start --in run---- type --regedit

go to hkey local machine --in the left side bar --open software look for ur app -------do not open the file -----put ur mouse on it right click the whole file----delete

go to hkey-current user and do the same

now back to start go to search---type ur app in the search window

delete all remaining files

go to my computer open it look in the program file for anything for ur app delete these files should be empty --if u put ur mouse on it it should say empty

use ccleaner to do a registry clean ---make sure u save the fix --it will be sent to ur docs reboot and ur done

or if ur program has a removal tool---use their free removal tool even avg has one----google avg removal tool an follow the instruction to the letter-----norton --mcafee --kaspersky have special removal toolsHow do you remove a software that is manually deleted?
try restoring it from where U deleted it to.It is very dangerous to uninstall software by directly deleting their files for there must be lots of leftovers both in the drives and registry.



After restoring it, it is better for you to uninstall it with an uninstaller, which must be safer and easier. And I think Perfect Uninstaller will do you the job. It helps me uninstall many unwanted programs from my computer. I believe it can assist you, too.
