i also stand by corel draw 14 for design as well... it doesn't cross 100% with adobe products but it's about 85% compatible... i still argue that the control in corel is better than illustrator but illustrator has some great one-touch design tools... and omg the brushes lol...
microsoft office is a must buy... it's the standard in every office setting... it has data organizing programs like excel that are unrivaled... but i wouldn't buy any of their web design software... they used to make microsoft frontpage but it was a very basic web design program and is nowhere near as standard as the dreamweaver, flash, fireworks trio... they stopped making frontpage and haven't put anything out since...What kinds of software would you pay for?Arrrrrrrrr Me Thinks Me Smell A Pirate..... Avast thar mate are ye a Pirate or a wanta be?
iieee me wooden leg feels like someone is pulling on it.....buurrrr shiver me timbers I is outta here. What kinds of software would you pay for?
hardly any. It would have to be open source and not have a free version for me to purchase it which removes basically everything from my list.
