What is a good animation software for beginners?

I really want to download some sort of animation software to create my own cartoons, but I'm looking for the most basic thing possible. I've never taken an art or computer class, it's just something I want to mess around with and post videos on youtube. Any suggestions? What is a good animation software for beginners?Blender: http://www.blender.org/download/get-blen鈥?/a>

RonWhat is a good animation software for beginners?Pivot stick figure animator is a free application that can make pretty decent cartoons with just click and drags of your mouse. You can also add audio and upload it to youtube using windows movie maker which comes preloaded in most window computers. a link to it is here. Cnet has no spyware so dont worry about getting a virus from it. http://download.cnet.com/Pivot/3000-6677_4-52544.htmlWhat is a good animation software for beginners?Well, I started out playing around with the 3d modeling software and tried all the trials.
